Marlins, Red Sox, Pirates Talking Manny Trade

8:50pm: Will Carroll believes the Commissioner's Office has been informed of a Red Sox-Pirates-Marlins trade even though the teams haven't agreed on the prospects. Here's how he sees it:


Marlins get Manny Ramirez, one prospect (BOS), and cash (likely Ramirez⁈⁚s remaining salary)
Pirates get Jeremy Hermida and three prospects (two FLO, one BOS)
Red Sox get Jason Bay and John Grabow



manny is batting .301 Bay is batting .284 but he is 29, Manny will be 37.

The Sox did pretty good for a guy they had to get rid of. A good lefty and Bay is decent.Gammons even was ripping him. He was so mad that he quit on his Sox. He even got mad at Phillips for saying they should keep him.

Gammons is funny when he gets mad. Remember how he reacted when he felt the Yankees disrespected Joe Torre with their offer. One of these days he is going to cry on the air.

He was pretty angry tonight. Never really saw him that mad. He thought that Phillips was blaming Francona for not being able to handel Manny.
