hey-- i am die hard Yanks, but i am going to tell people how it is. sox have a good team, the angels have a good regular season team. they are not built for a 5 game series. maybe if this were a best of 7, maybe they would have a chance. ohh and k-rod doesnt even compare to mariano. k-rod= overrated as well.

Based on your logic the defending WS champs can play horribly in Sept, limp into the post season but still be considered a streaking team?

Sorry but I just consider streaking to be different from being the world champs from the previous season. And winning the first game in the visiting ballpark still can't be considered a streak imo.

And the article was posted prior to the game even starting so being up 4-0 can't be considered.


Oh yeah, forgot to mention the entire article was about Santana and did not mention anything about a Sox streak.

I guess I don't understand why it would bother you so much that they used the term "streaking." The Press uses all kinds of terms. They have to write about something.......................maybe they mean't that Boston has been very successful in the post season of late, that they swept Colorado and in a manner of speaking they'd won their fifth game in a row {in the post season} by beating the Angels. Maybe that was the context. Winners get the praise.........the others don't. That is how it works {which I'm sure you're aware of.} I stopped "hating" the Red Sox a couple years ago. If the Yankees want to be the center of attention then WIN...........otherwise you get what you deserve is the way I look at it.

I'm hoping the Angels at least win tonight and then go from there. One game at a time, they have had two 3 game win streaks against the BloSox let's hope for a third. smile

its disgusting how teams just roll over for the sox. the "best team in baseball" looks like a little league team out there with that misplay. i dont ever wanna hear how good they are or how their manager is so great. the regular season means nothing when u get into the post season. disgusting.
