Tampa Bay Rays will beat the Red Sox

We won the last one in 2000 VS the Mets. That was #26. Check the Record, Free Agency is a new thing, the Yanks had won so many before FA came around. We can live in the Past because we have a Great Past, you can't because your past is so bad I wouldn't want to discuss it with anyone. The word is FUTILITY. Marlins came to be at the same time you did, they have won 2 WS.

The Rays will find out that with success lots of money is needed. I will go to the Red Sox Board and post your message, so they know you will wax the floor and rub it in their face.

The Yanks always have a Stadium packed, with Yankee Fans, which the Rays don't seem to do. In order to fill the Stadium day in and day out, you need a history of success, which you don,t till you can win with consistency the City won't build you a Stadium.

Worry about the RAYS, what a joke? I just told you, we beat you in the season series, when we were playing bad. The Red Sox is what the Yanks always look at, because of the success they had and have.

Don't feel bad about the YAnks, they will be back, and if you win it all you will need 25 more in order to come close to the Yanks.. I don't remember how many years you have been playing, but with the worst record of Baseball comes the #1 Draft that is why you have so many good players. Rays didn't have a choice but stick with them, your owners never wanted to spend money on the Team, and when they did, they chose expensive players that were already bad. Give your core of good players 3-5 years when they become FA, how many do you think you can keep? How many would like to go somewhere else and get more money, I will say ALL of them.

I hope you win, because if you don't, it will be a long off season for you.

NO....the Yankees took a break from playing cold weather baseball all of these years. Your team BETTER take advantage this season because IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. so savor it JUST LIKE COLORADO DID last year because its the same story.

Boy, you are really funny and dillusional, you must not know how many before you have repeated the same, only to find out, is not that easy to repeat or to stay at the top. It

I am glad you told the Red Sox off, that is what the Yanks have been doing to them since 1918. So the Flavor of the Month is what is said about the Rays out there? I wonder why

Blah blah blah... Missy, you stated they had 27, I was merely correcting you. I've already invaded the Sox boards, so don't think your getting special treatment. You guys have your defense mechanisms kicked into full gear.

Rays vs. Red Sox is the new Yankees vs. Red Sox rivalry... only if we go up 3-0(which we will), we'll actually put them away... BOOYAH!

You had your run. But its the 21st century and you've done NOTHING.

More cowbell please.

This is the most commical thread I have read in a long LONG time.

Everyone will agree here that is doesn't matter who wins the world series, just as long as it isn't the RED S U X!

Also, we are all missing the obvious:

1. There is no such thing as a devil rays or Tampa MLB board (too few subscribers).

2. Tampa maybe the first team to ever win the World Series and then move to another city the following season.

3. The only jealousy from Tampa is that they Tampa Yankees outdraw the Tampa MLB team EVERY SEASON.

4. Nobody will be at the Rays game..because Hockey is starting! AND, football is going on...

I think I saw a playoff 1 ticket and get a brand new BMW convertible (after you show up and stay for 7 innings).

BTW...what are the cost for playoff tickets...5, 10 bucks? I wish Yankees playoff tickets were that affordable?

Oh, and lastly, I heard MLB switched the AL games to TBS because Fox would lose money by putting the Rays on instead of their regularly scheduled programs.

This TBRay guy has got to be applauded in some way! He certainly has the guts to come here with his newly aquired communication skills!

His profile appears devoid of any info that might indicate any sign of "human background" or education beyond middle school; however from his writings, I percieve the troll to likened to maybe a "Beetle Bailey Cartoon Character".

He has indeed given us all a few laughs I'm sure; and I might add that he has done no more that "awakened a sleeping giant". Like the tent caterpillar......he won't be here long!!

Keep up that attitude of anyone but the Sox, soon enough you'll be saying that about the Rays... 26 world titles... psssh, we'll get that done by 2050, and it starts with 2008. Then you'll truly know the meaning of a dynasty.

Next year we won't take it easy on you guys either. Lol, I love how you just disregard the Rays, that's precisely the thinking that got you to this point.

You retards should take a lesson from the Lightning fans. How the helllll does a hockey team in Florida out draw a MLB team every year. Thats because they have REAL FANS. Not a bunch of brand new, know-it-alls. This is true because there isnt enough hype for hockey to have those type of fans in Florida.

They payed their dues through reaching the playoffs 3 years before they won the Stanley Cup. They finished last in the league last year and still finished in the top 10 in attendance. And they did all that with no national media support and little mediorce local media support. There was no hype machine of dumbasss cowbells and mowhawks. And they certaintly dont leach off the greatness of other clubs.

Just like the Yankees are leaching off our greatness?

By rooting for the Rays, you're admitting your team wasn't good enough to get the job done.
