Oh please get real, all we are doing is wanting the Rays to stop the Red Sox from winning another world series and that the Rays comeback story is nice, nothing more, nothing less. Stop acting arrogant like you've been doing this for years when you have won multiple championships like the Red Sox and Yankees have, come talk to us then. I am so sick and tired of fan bases thinking Yankee fans are somehow "jealous" and/or "envious" of their franchise. And last time I looked, the Rays had a horrible record against the Yankees, so please just keep your trap shut.

We are not jumping ship to go anywhere nor will we because we root for the Yankees first and farmost. We have to find something to do in our leisure time to pass the time while the postseason is going on. When the Rays are getting smacked around by the Yankees yet again next season, you will be nowhere to be found.

Yeah I mean seriously just because you like a certain team to win doesn't mean all of a sudden we are wanting to become Rays fans. This type of stuff makes you dislike the team you are rooting for when you have fans that they they own the world because they got a team that made one playoff appearance.

1. Rooting against the Red Sox is the equivalent of rooting for the Rays, which makes you bandwagoners... which I am not. I have been with all my Tampa/Florida teams since the beginning.

2. The red sox fans did the same thing in the first round, rooting for the white sox because they're scared to play us. They will play scared and lose in four (maybe five) games.

3. This may be our first playoff experience, but fifty years from now the Rays will be America's most successful franchise, and the Yankees will be an afterthought.

first and foremost, in 50 years from now, there won't be a baseball team in Tampa (except the Tampa Yankees single A).

This guy is not a Red Sox troll. He is your typical bandagon Ray fan. I was reading in another board about somebody who lives in Tampa and she was saying that people in the streets are bashing the Yankees and their fans. She said that it was sickening. The Ray fans forgot that because of teams like Yankees, Red Sox, Mets they are able to get money from revenue sharing to put a team on the field. I did a research and I found out that in 2007 the Rays got 33 million from revenue sharing. How much did they spend in 2007? About 27 million. The rest went to their owner's pocket.
