First of all, I would just like to mention, I absolutely LOVE how all you Yankee fans are latching onto our franchise now. It's kind of pathetic, and cute at the same time. I'm so sorry you had such a horrible season, but know that the Rays will do something the Yankees couldn't, and that's put the Red Sox away.
I saw you guys rooting for the Angels and White Sox, the bitter fans that you are. Yes, I know this is our first trip to the postseason, but it doesn't make it any less sweeter. Know that our Tampa Bay franchise will get the job done.
The Rays are the team of the present AND the future. Your pathetic franchise is a shell of its former self, and both you and the Red Sox will be looking up at us in the standings for several seasons to come. Don't latch onto us though, we don't need your kind dragging us down. We can handle the Red Sox all on our own, and the Rays will. Look forward to the offseason, spend your obscene amounts of money, and watch as we achieve success without the power of the dollar. It took a decade to build, but the Rays are here and they're going to stay here at the top.
Thanks for your support, but we don't need it. We do look forward to welcoming you guys back to the trop in 2009 as we will be the defending world champs by then. Have fun with your off-season.

loyalty ?, that club was almost contracted a few years ago for lack of fan support, thats a fact, and it took a new york guy to rescue them. yes indeed you Rays fans are Loyal. get back to me when your club can win back to back WS rings before you proclaim a dynasty.... you have a excellent young team , enjoy it while you can.

im enjoying "your" team playing baseball too!!!!!! Good baseball, no matter the team is fun to watch if you're a baseball fan at heart..... but really?? u had to come here??? lol! i'd still be drinking champagne and singing if i were you, but you come on a YES NETWORK board to gloat. ha ha ha ha if this is where you have to come to feel good or get attention, then so be it, but i feel sorry for you. later
