Yes, I'm way too early, but why not? It's only Spring Training after all.

I'd like to welcome you all to a new season. Yes, I know I'm a few days late, but I expect the 2007 season to be a good one. I'll be here for most of the games and I hope that you will be here too. I hope that this will be the year for #27 (how many times have we said that since 2000?).

My last Game Thread was against the Tigers and Kenny Rogers. As you all know, the Yanks lost 6-0 and I want to get that bad taste out of my mouth.

So I decided to start this GT early. I've missed starting these babies since last year. Nothing like Yankee baseball!

So enough with all the chatter, since I know most of you seem bored reading this.

I'll have lineups later on tomorrow. Good Day.

Teams are diffrent in ST. They have all different players than the rosters in the reg. season

Yeah, I know. I guess I was trying to be funny. The Reds always seem to do fairly well in ST and even at the beginning of the season, then they kind of fizzle out.

At least that game is on YES tomorrow. I looked at the YES schedule. And Monday's game against Boston is listed as a tape delay. Starting at 11 pm. YES is showing the lousy Nets basketball game instead. Have a good one.
