I can understand the pro life stance and respect it. Her Creationist beliefs are another thing. Believing the earth is 4 thousand years old is just plain ignorant. And so is her connection to that crazy Evangelical church. They speak in tongues, for God sakes! Her hateful campaigning where she riled up the mob until someone shouted "kill him" didn't warm me up to her either. I don't know if she is intelligent or not. I do believe she is not informed enough on policy to be much more than the Governor of a small state. Last but not least, I think her slaughtering of wolves and other game from the safety of a helicopter is cowardly. If not for these small complaints, I'd vote for her in a heart beat. LOL

I respect your beleifs on being pro choice. I used to be pro choice until I heard my childrens heartbeats at just a few weeks into my wifes pregnancy.

As far as how old th earth is, I havent got a clue and neither do you for that matter. I have my beleifs but whats the difference , we will never really know.

As far as her hateful campaigning goes, I disagree, the questions she raised about Ayers and others was legitimate. Besides, the campaign told her what to say at every turn.

The wolves from a helicopter point is a little ridiculous. Who really cares? There has to be a reason they kill them up there. I remember hearing something like the wolves kill the moose and caribou, which is what most Alaskans survive on. So if I have to shoot something to eat, I will do what I have to as well.

Do you think Obama is going to govern from the left or center?

God Bless America.

Bolo, Well, you don't really know if the earth revolves around the sun do you? The church used to kill people that believed such heresy. You're trusting science for that. Just like you should be trusting science when it says the earth is billions of years old. I mean, what's in it for them to be lying? What does the scientific community gain? Science is nothing more then objective measuring through repetition. Open that mind of yours, my friend.

I think Obama will govern from from left of center only because major federal government intervention into this crises is needed. Much as it was during the great depression.

Most of the things you find under couch cushions have Washington, Lincoln, and sometimes Kennedy on them. I think you're holding Obama to some pretty high standards.

One thing you're overlooking is what we Conservatives overlooked back in 2004. At the time, I was running around proclaiming the death of liberalism and was thrilled to death. Boy, was I wrong! Instead, it just found itself a new "leader" who knew how to "touch" people. Now, our government has completely shifted.

What I'm getting at is that you and others are writing off us Conservatives. It may feel good right now but you couldn't be more wrong. We're here. We're Clear. We're Staying. It's our right and duty to uphold the teachings of our forefathers. Liberalism can have its 15 minutes of shame but you can be damned sure we Conservatives will be here to finish up the hour.

Now, enjoy your "victory" but as you do so remember this: If it weren't for President Bush McCain would have won easily. There will be nobody to blame but your guys come 2010 and 12.

have a great day, my friend. I hope you are doing well. smile

If you're going to run around spreading rumors about Palin's religious beliefs then I'd better not hear you crying when people call BHO a muslim.

Just a fair warning.

"Nobody is telling you that you have to agree with him. Just enough with the nonsense."

After all the smack talk you did about Palin I think you're about the last person to give someone advice on how they should treat BHO.

It's not so much conservatism that's dead now. However, the Karl Rove style of conservatism - emphasizing social issues that will never be addressed, appealing to the lowest common denominator, discouraging voter turnout - appears to be a thing of the past. That is something to celebrate.

"What "destructive" policies would you be referring to?"

Their views on nearly every single social issue, taxing the snot out of our companies, bigger government, etc., etc., etc. You know, the usual divisive stuff that does nothing but cause a giant rift in our country. wink
