Yep.. not bad! But, as Qwik recently said, (and I hate to even speak of it), but he said that we are due at some point soon for a bit of a cold streak, and the Sox are due soon for a hot streak. I'd like to believe that is not so. I'd like to believe we will continue to stay this hot.. at least until after we beat up on Boston at home.
I am a nervous type, Art, and it's just part of my being. I think we are playing great baseball, and all I hope is that it continues to stay this way fairly consistently going forward. But it makes no sense that Boston would continue to play as poorly as they have of late, so that I think we both would acknowledge.
So, I think the race to the Post Season will be VERY VERY TIGHT. Don't you? That's the part that makes me nervous. It's not a doomsday feeling, it's only one of slight anxiety and nerves. So, LET'S GO YANKEES! Whip the White Sox!

honestly when all is said and done we can win this divsion by 10 games - I thought we had the best team gonig into the season and then we got the injury bug... we hung around despite the injuries and really slow starts by Tex and CC, we have been by far the best team in baseball since Arod came back.... I have followed this game since the early 70's so I know to never take anything for granted, a lot can happen between now and the end of September but until then I'll live in the "now" and right now we are in first place!
Didn't see it. I was indisposed. Oakland gave them a "run." I left after Wuertz got the DP to make it no one on with two out in the 7th. Next time I looked it was 6-5. Somebody "blew up." I'll have to look at the highlights on MLB.com.
