Fuentes got Green on a check swing that was not close and umpire called it no swing.

Then he strikes him out on a 3-2 pitch above the knees and the ump doesn't move.

The Angels are going nuts...I don't blame them.

What a disgrace Boston needs the umpires to help them win again. Green struck out twice in that about absolutely pathetic.

If that wasn't a strike, I've never seen one in my freaking life.

You know why they got screwed?

Got the first two batters out, then nibbled on everyone. Walked Ortiz, walked Drew.

That's how you choke.

It never fails. The Red Sox get every benefit of the doubt in Fenway from the umpires. I'm so annoyed I want to punch an umpire, I can only imagine how the Angels feel about that.

Boy, did they ever get screwed, especially on that last pitch to Green. Take a look at the location of pitch #9 in this at bat K-zone, the last pitch to Green.

Pitch #9 was called ball 4. LOL.

Scioscia would've had every right to go out there and throw an Earl Weaver-style tantrum on that one.

that pitch was right down the center of the plate and about 3 inches low of being right down the freaking middle. Not Fuentes fault. Umps handed this game to the Sox, no if's and's or but's. Absolutely disgraceful. Soscia should appeal and that ump should be removed for the rest of the season.

Even the Sox announcers said "oh boy, I don't know but that was a strike", "Mike Soscia is upset and he should be".

Yes Fuentues nibbled with two outs, but he made 2 pitches to nick green that were strike three, the 1st base and hp umps cost the angels that game, there are no two ways about it. That should have been an 8 7 angels win. Boston has no one to thank but jeff kellogg and rick reed.
