Baseball Reference is an amazing place! Just roaming around it and wanted to see what Mickey did his last games in '68...I was shocked to see the attendance at his last game at Yankee Stadium......Cleve beat NY 3-0 before 5,723! Cant believe it, his last game.

I didnt see the "Milkman" post, but I know of 2 Yankees called milkman.  1 of course was Melky Cabrera and the other was Jim TUrner, who I believe worked as a milkman in the offseason.

Jim Turner aka "The Milkman" was a  main reliever for the New York Yankees in the early 1940's, later he was the Yankees MLB pitching Coach for Manager Casey Stengel from 1949  to the 1959 AL season, when he took the blame for the Yankees 3rd place finish. Jim Turner was replaced by Eddie Lopat in 1960. He joined the Cincinnati Reds, the team he first came up to in MLB. He was their MLB pitching coach until May of 1966, when he returned to the New York Yankees to work with Manager Ralph Houk.

What? Cheating like Newwinn? Buffalo chips to you sir!

"Ducky" Schofield aka Richard, who was Richard Groat's back-up infielder on the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates. Originally he came up with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Yankees got him from the Giants, another good field, no hit infielder like Hal Lainer, Harry Bright and others of that era.
