is there any chance that this would be 2B Jerry Lumpe?...

Try Roger Repoz ,who was traded  by the Yankees to the Kansas City A's who in turn traded him to the Angels.

please don't let the uniform fool you, he really was a New York Yankee...

I realize I certainly don't have the klout or the prowess that the Clipper possesses...but I am waiting for an answer...please humor me fellow posters...

It's former Yankee Roger Repoz, who was traded to the A's then to the Angels.

A picture of Jimmy Hall in Yankee pinstripes can be found at www.lonecadaver.com see the 1969-1971 Yankees Teams  page.

Aussie,

You're correct! It's Tom Metcalf.

I don't recall seeing him play at all. The only memory I have of him is his card from the "Challenge the Yankees" board game.

Marvin,

Tom Metcalf came up to the 1963 New York Yankees on August 4th. He appeared in 8 games out of the bullpen posting a 1-0 record. The next spring he broke his arm while throwing a pitch, he ended his professional baseball career in 1965. I too have a "Challenge the Yankees " game with Tom in it.
