Thank you. I needed to read a post like this to renew my faith in this board. I can't argue the same points with every newbie every day. I need sanctuary.

Artie...you jiggled my memory as to the Toronto losses back in 77...I remember one very bad one. So I went on Baseball Reference and found it. This was to an expansion team.....and the 77 Yanks were to be WS champs. You think the Jonah's of this world back then were barking after this one!!

LOL...you remembered it too!! Well I confess I did not remember the score but I remember they got blown out by the expansion Blue Jays. Then I remembered I went to a game in Toronto where Old Heathcliff Johnson hit 3 HR's. That web site is awesome for info!

Good idea in theory. I predict the trolls overrun this sanctuary on the next bad play.

You are my President and I bow to you like Brian Williams bows to Obama....I do want Trost, Levine and Jonah fired. And I'd like Keith Olbermann dragged through the infield by the grounds crew during YMCA, please.

And your best work, Mr Vandelay, was clearly when you adjudicated the crime of the century up in Massachusettes and put away those four bad samaritans for ignoring a crime.
