End 3rd Q, Giants up 41-7 and driving.

According to other fans, CBS actually switched MIDPLAY to other games in non-regional cities.

2 minute warning. This game is over. Could be 44-10 or 44-14, but it's over.

Giants finish, 44-7. Commercial has a football player saying, "Cable? Not in my world." I'm sure Raider fans think the same thing.

CBS also treated us to an exciting finish to the Bengals game. Ray Lewis = cheap shot artist.

Giants have way with overmatched Raiders

It was over when ...

Ahmad Bradshaw averaged an impressive 10 yards per carry vs. the Raiders.
(Julie Jacobson / Associated Press)

Giants backup QB David Carr eluded pressure and raced into the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown, giving New York a 38-7 lead early in the third quarter. While it appeared unlikely the Raiders would be able to mount a comeback even before Carr's score, that put any dreams of a rally to rest.

Game ball

Ahmad Bradshaw may not have gotten the most carries, but he clearly made the biggest impact. He gained 110 yards on only 11 rushing attmempts and scored two touchdowns. He also added a key 55-yard catch on a third-and-24.

Key Stat

Oakland finished with as many punts (seven) as it did first downs. That is perhaps the best example of how poorly the Raiders' offense performed.

Noteworthy

JaMarcus Russell fumbled three times, losing all three. ... The Raiders converted on just one of their 12 third-down tries. ... Eli Manning left prior to the end of the first half after aggravating his foot injury. He did throw for 173 yards and two touchdowns in less than a half of action. ... New York's defense sacked Russell six times.

It should have been 44-0 for you guys. The refs blew the whistle way too early on the "foward progress". I mean remeber when the refs didn't blow the whislte of Stephen Jackson last week.
