There is no way in bloody heck that Charlie Weis can remain for another season!!! I would even take that joker in the broadcast booth John Gruden at this point; at least he's got a ring. We need to break in someone who is going to recruit better for our team, and actually bother paying attention to the defensive line!!! All Weis cares about is making sure Clausen throws for 500 yards a game....he doesn't even mention how many holes there are in the D-line!!! Defense wins games, Charlie...you need the boot, BAD. After that loss to Navy, your fate (should be) sealed.

Oh, darn I was hoping this was a fire Kruck or Fire Fatcesca threadCry Oh, well.... Yeah I'm behind you all the way on that idea AJ!! Charlie has definitely been given more than a fair chance to recruit and coach up his very own players in his own playcalls and it just has not worked at all!!! It pains me to see any known Yankee fan suffer, fail and deman termination but Charlie has earned this overwhleming criticism and opposition. All Irish fans can only dream if there was anyway to lure Urban but I guess all they can hope for is a Gruden type.

Have you ever been to a Notre Dame football game? It's probably one of the coolest sporting events i've gone to. Almost every car in the nearby field where we parked was playing the Rudy theme song. The campus is beautiful. Their marching band plays a few tunes on campus before the game starts & they sound amazing. Watching the players walk behind their head coach from the field house to the football field makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Tyrone Willingham was the coach back then. It would have been cool to see Lou Holtz lead the way. The view of the Touch Down Jesus mural is amazing as well.

It would be quite a sight to witness a football game at such a revered site like Notre Dame. I do believe not even Rudy can do that place justice just because it is one of those things you have to experience in person. I can only imagine the experience if the team was actually revelant as it once was. Damn, they need to fire Weis, immediately!! So, we can begin to complain about the new guy ;-)

I have a small poster that was signed by Rudy a few years ago.

I have never been to a game, but I would love to go. ND is one of the most beloved schools in the nation. They have sold out every game for something like 40 years in a row now, the fans want and always demand the best. That's what makes this team so great! Smile
