Yesterday Joe Schad of ESPN reported that Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen will declare for the 2010 NFL Draft. This decision makes perfect sense for Jimmy Clausen who has dominated this year with 23 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. Plus with the injuries to Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen has leap-frogged Bradford for the top quarterback spot in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Clausen in all likely hood will be the first player taken in NFL Draft. He has really stepped up his play this year, and has been careful with the ball. Clausen has improved his passing yards and completion percentage. He also has experience in a offense that translates well to the pros, unlike other prospects like Colt McCoy, and Tim Tebow who come from a spread-option system.
