They did on ESPN News. I'd take it seriously, since the last time the same source leaked something, it was about Cowher leaving the Steelers.

I saw this on ESPN. I don't want "The Chin" in NYC. I think Coughlin is still the best fit for this team, and is still a much better coach.

Best fit? How? You saw what the players did, right? They already voted Coughlin out.

They already voted out? Coughlin is still here and will not be fired. So your wrong once again

Yes they did. By tanking and quitting on the field. Last I saw, players don't have front office jobs to actually FIRE him.

Unfortunately for Cowher, if the Giants do wait til 2011, Fox may be available, and the Giants covet Fox more than Cowher.

Let's see if the Giants pull a 2004-2007 Yankees, waiting helplessly for Coughlin to regain his team. Didn't work with Torre.

Did you ever think that maybe the Giants were not just a good team? The WHOLE team did not quit on Coughlin. Some players might have, but most of the team probably did not. And if the front office thought that the team quit on coughlin, dont you think they would of made a change?

The Giants had the same D as 2 years ago, and a better receiving corps. Please.

Same Defense 2 years ago? Strahan aint there, Kawika Mitchell aint there, James Butler aint there, Sam madison aint there. AP, our defensive leader, got hurt in the middle of the season. Ross played like 3 games this year. Webster did not play the last 2 or 3 games of the year, where we got blown out. Cofield and Robbins had knee surgerys in the offseason. Tuck was playing hurt and Osi was coming off an injury where it made him the miss the entire year last year. So no the defense was not the SAME from 2 years ago.

Was Osi playing 2 years ago? No? So, they had the same subtraction as two years ago.

Yes Osi was playing 2 years ago. Was he coming off a serious injury? No. Honestly I think Osi is overated. He is good against the pass and bad against the run. But if you think this the same Defense from two years ago, your wrong.

i think coughlin is a very good coach but i think that if the players dont step up to their potential next year and i mean the high priced defensive linemen and brandon jacobs then theyre gonna have to decide who goes, coughlin or the players !! i dont ever recall watching a steeler game where the players didnt go 100% on cowher's teams
