Were they supposed to beat the Colts in Indy? I forget.

They didn't beat the Colts, that's the point. They never win a game when they aren't favored.

Texans were 3 point favorites in week 5.

With @4 minutes left, I really felt that they'd hold on to steal this game in PHI.  If not for a lame offsides penalty, the Eagles would've punted on 4th & 6, but instead they go for it on 4th & 1 with the result being a 50-yd TD run after a (nearly-blocked) pitchout; 2-pt conversion good.  Fast-forward one minute, and Eli miraculously scampers to the PHI 40 on 4th & 6...but then he fumbles.  I understand that these guys are human & that everyone makes mistakes, but coughing up the ball when you're trying to go down while untouched/uncontested by the defense like that should happen 0 out of 100 times in the NFL.  PHI ball at 2nd & 10 with 2:48 left; everyone knows that a running play is coming, and yet they allow 40 yds up the gut; game over.

So yes: Eli throwing yet another interception in garbage time to finish this one seems like a fitting end to the game to me.
