As reported Minn dropped 2 feet of snow as more is expected.  Giants are stuck in Kansas City for the rest of the day. With canceled air transportation, Giants cannot leave for Minneapolis until tomorrow morning at best.  Game is scheduled at 1PM, it leaves no room for pre-game warmups.

Oooh, they'll be playing in Giants weather. Just ask the Packers in 2007. Laughing

It's reported Giants/Vikings game will be played at night. Check for exact time.  I'll be right in front of the TV rooting for a Giants win!!!!

jonah- you think they will play the game out in the yard in "giants weather" or will they play inside the dome where they play most home games?

Reports are now that the entire roof of the Metrodome has collapsed.  I wonder what this is going to do to the game.  The Golden Gophers have an outdoor football stadium that I guess would be an option.  I would imagine that Target Field would be another option but there's no way they could set that up for football on such short notice.

Reports are saying the game could be played at Ford Field in Detroit.

My friends in Mpls are saying that the Golden Gophers 50,000-seat stadium is getting serious consideration.  I was there last year & it's a great facility, but I'd imagine that a Monday night game there in forecasted sub-0º temperatures might be tough for the Giants, as they've packed gear in anticipation of an indoor game.

It seems to me Giants are more familiar with playing in the elements as Vikings play over half their games secure under a dome.  As reported it is indeed a Monday night game on Fox5.
