Knicks couldn't get a stop down the stretch. Gotta play a little defense too. I don't see why the Knicks would be interested in Carmelo Anthony. The Knicks run, run, run. They move. Carmelo doesn't like to run that much. The Knicks have money. They ought to wait for their type of player. They've come a long way but are not an elite team yet. A couple of the right players and they'll be close.

Eventhough they lost, the Knicks definitely showed me they can play with the Celtics. And yeah, they definitely got this one stolen because the Knicks had them beat. When Pierce's shot went through the hoop there was .7 left on the clock. That's when the clock shoulda stopped, not at .4. And no sour grapes at all, a great game and the Knicks are a great team again with a great big man and a great PG, but they definitely shoulda had more time on the shot clock.

The Knicks need of a big defensive big man is still obvious. As great as Amare is, his defense is a bit suspect. Turiaf is good but is more of a backup center. They need a big defensive center that would be a compliment to Amare, for example Samuel Dalembert. He would be a perfect fit. The Knicks should focus more on that and less on Melo, considering they can get him for nothing over the offseason and it would likely cost some valuable pieces, Gallinari, Chandler, Fields, etc. Dalembert won't cost much and he's more of a fit for this team IMO.
