Al Harrington contract now I hear the biggest sticking point- Nuggets trying to dump his contract on the Nets.

I'd take him to!!!!!!! As long as we have a taker for Outlaw.  I guess we have Thorn to thank for that one.

I guess the trade won't happen- WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD TAKE HIM.

Hey Billy!  Call Rod and ask him we'll take a dozen cheesesteaks for Travis and make them ALL THE WAY.

LOL yeah you'll take him, and you'll find out how bad he is. I'm a Knick fan I know, and I jumped for joy when he was out of town. Trust me when I tell you he is garbage, a black hole in any offense who thinks he's better than he is. Why do you think the Nuggets are already trying to ship him out of town? Why do you think he's been on so many teams in his career? He would make you miss Outlaw. I wish any team luck that has him.

If that could make the Melo trade happen- then take him. The Nets are in dire straights right now- I think Harrington and Outlaw are a wash that make the same money. You can't keep both that would make no sense.

I don't think anything is happening anyway.  We are being set up for another fall- That is the only thing Net Fans are rooting for right now.

We are so far off from competing for a playoff spot no less a championship- WHO KNOWS WHAT THE RIGHT DECISION IS. But if it involves Carmelo-bite the bullet and maybe Avery can wake him up.

I actually think you're better off if you don't make the trade anyway. Favors has the potential to be a future star and Harris is better than Billups at this point. And I never understoof the hype on Lopez and this year he's finally showing the flaws that I have seen. Personally I would trade Lopez instead of Favors without question. I understand that Melo coming to NJ would look better for the short term, but in the long term I believe the Nets would regret the trade if it ever goes through. Plus you would lose a sheet load of picks that you can use to rebuild your team in the draft. Think about it, do you seriously want to gut all of those assets for Melo? Before you answer that look at all your giving up and what you're gaining. Even if you got Melo, I think you are a borderline 7th or 8th seed at best. Melo can't fix a franchise by himself, he needs help and you would be trading a good portion of his help away. Meanwhile, if you keep Favors and Harris and build through the draft you will be a scary young team in a couple of years.
