Yankeeloon Posts: 8,118	Actually Francona is right because on that team, Crawford should bat either, 5th, 6th or 7th. Since Papi is hitting he gets 5th, so to break up the lefties, Carl belongs in the 7 hole. I said this all winter: Crawford is the most overpaid and overrated player in the game and his #'s are tough to pigeon hole him into a top of the order slot. Doesn't walk, doesn't hav much power, not a super average like Ichiro. Just a nice player.

I would love to see Girardi employ that approach. enough already. It is only 5 games. The reason Jeter will not be dropped like Crawford has been , is 1) he is the captain of this team and 2) He is a HOFer and the jury is still out on whether Crawford is one, It is so nuts for people like you to be critical of every at bat. Were you this hard on Tex the last 2 years with his s-llooooow starts? . NOBODY DOES IT BETTER THAN THE NEW YORK YANKEES
