0-5. Only 7 runs scored in 5 games.

I don't think we'll be hearing from them this year.

They're toast.   I do like some of their starters though.   I just posted to somebody else,  I wonder how long it will take for Manny to come up with one of his mystery injuries.

At least the Red Sox have the talent to right their ship.

I'm not so sure the Rays do.

Hey it's early... I'm not counting anyone out at this point. I'm just enjoying the hell out of their slow start, after all the world declared them the 2011 World Series champoins in November. I wonder if they're scooping out bodies out of the Charles River yet. lol!

I'm not ready to write the Rays off just yet. We've had some pretty  horrid starts ourselves, even while healthy.

Longoria being hurt is killing them, but he'll be back in May. He  changes that lineup big time.

Jennings will be a June callup (or  when Damon gets hurt) and they have at least 2 more high end arms in  the minors (Moore, Archer and Colome)

Hellickson is a hell of a  pitcher and so is Price.

I don't think they can hang with the  Yankees with that extremely young rotation and lackluster lineup, but I  think they will be able to give everyone in the East a bit of trouble  now and then, especially when one of their young pitchers is dealing.  All of them are capable of being dominant any day of the week. Like us,  their season largely depends on one guy. Ours is AJ Burnett, theirs is  James Shields. The difference is that outside of Longoria, they have  nobody that can compare with A-Rod, Jeter, Cano and Teixera. I seriously  doubt that they are in the basement come July.
