The only time I really get to myyself is during games. I will try to be more a part of the boards if I can. Would be nice ... love the animal rescue that you do!

All my pets have been adopted from a shelter... I like to say they rescued me.

If he played 5 more years he would need 185 hits a year. It's not a far reach at all.

And, in his best years, he only got around 200 hits and this year, he'll only get around 150 hits, so it is a far reach

MrYankeeman Posts: 1,697	3,020 hits......980 to go! 2-6 with a run and 2 RBI's It is not a far reach at all to say he signs 2, 1 year contracts after this one is over. 154 hits a year for the next 6 is also not a far reach. Jeter reached 3,000 faster than Rose and if he does stick around then it is very possible. Jeter is not your average everyday player no matter how you look at it. He may not be the Jeter he has been but 154 hits a year is in no way a stretch. Last year batting 270 he had 179 hits.
