I understand you are tired, but the people who died are still dead, and the loved ones who lost them most likely still grieve ... if all things should stop when people get tired of them, why do we still play The National Anthem at the beginning of each game? ... if it were up to people that grow tired of things, we wouldn't be doing that anymore either ... for those who are tired of it, probably a great time for that snack or bathroom break!

Carp Posts: 2,617	Get over it. Just because the constitution allows for freedom of religion that doesn't mean REMOVAL of religion. This country was first formed by very religious people. It's the foundation of everything this country stands for.... like it or not. People are in no way oppressed by the singing of "God Bless America", though they claim it offends them (thereby oppressing them). Well, you don't have to listen to it so your not oppressed by it. I find it oppressive when people try to dictate to others that their faith in god is flawed and ridiculous. Instead of paying $5 per ticket to have it stopped, pay the money to some kids charity- at least it's money well spent.
