Mo, I want to thank you and so many others here for making this season even more enjoyable for me.  The Yankees gave us an exciting run, that unfortunately fell shy.  Give credit to the Tigers, they earned the victory.  Too often fans forget there are 2 teams in these games.  To Joe G, the team and the front office, THANK YOU for 2011.

God Bless you all this off season and may He allow ALL of us to be back posting throughout this new season.

P.S. has the 2011 post been deleted??  Did it ever really exist?  Did I dream it?

Welcome Back Carter...Laughing...very great stuff...did you post this for my benefit?...because that's exactly the way I felt last night!...ya' know with all your acknowledgements and thank yous it makes me think that you are packing your bags and leaving for the off season?...is this what we do?...do we clean out the lockers and call it quits until next season...I mean personlly I don't think I could handle the withdrawl...for me it would  be pretty severe...this will be helping me to answer one of my questions..."what happens now"?

No, that's why we have this thread ... so we don't have to call it quits for the off-season ... even if there isn't much going on on the boards, you can always find a friendly person to chat with in here ... hopefully!  Wink

115, your kind words are very appreciated.  As far as sleeping well, I don't.  In fact, a few years ago a Dr prescribed ambien for me and told me it would put me to sleep in a matter of a few minutes, 3 - 5 tops.  Well, the first night I took it I got nervous after 35-40 minutes and didnt fall asleep until about an hour after taking it.  The second night was pretty much the same result.  So (get ready to be surprised) those nights I have difficulty sleeping, I find prayer to be the best prescription.

I might watch some of the Cards game.  The Brewers game will be too early for me to catch much of it.  Safe travels home my friend.

Don't take ambien on a regular basis ... not good for you ... from a lady who has tried everything ... and prayer usually is what works!

Nope, only took it the 2 times.  It didnt work for me so I ditched it.

Mo, sounds like you are going through some trials (none of my business what they are).  You are in my prayers generally, but today specifically.

Remember our Lord's words, which have been written here a few times before.

Matthew 11:28-30   ‘Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’

I can relate to prayer for sleeplessness...and I swear there are nights I"m saying enough for everyone I know...hmm-m...I think that's the whole ideaSmile...now if my mentor was on the ball I would have been able to make bold and change the color of..."I find prayer to be the best Rx... a very regal purple would have been just swell...

After the news I got today, I need the off topic messages, keep 'em coming! Wink

Thank you ... it just hasn't been a good week ... I've had some complications from the lupus and it seems I just have to learn to live with them ... not much they can do for me ... they are trying, but nothing is working.

God bless you for being so sweet.

115, the effects that you can use to change the look of your posts are above the area that you type your messages in.

B    I    U    ABC

Bold- Italic   Underline   Strikethrough

The icons below that allow you to post pictures and video and change the font colors.

I hope this helps. If not let me know I will try to explain more clearly.
