The Rangers were lucky in Game 2 cause Motte had been untouchable up til then.

All the Braves had to do was win 1 game of their last 4 games. They were even leading by 2 in the 9th inning and lost.
That's how close the Cardinals came to missing the playoffs.

One comment. These teams are not very good. I can't remember so many games with a team scoring over 10 runs in a game. It happened in the other series, too. These teams just don't have the pitching. It really says something about the state of Major League Baseball that you have games like this. The WS gets to it's third game and this happens. Might happen again, too. In fact, I would bet it does.
