Did the Giants just save Coughlin's job?

I'm not even sure Coughlin wants to come back at his age, but did the big win over the Cowgirls cement him another year.  We all know that the Mara's seem to be more loyal to their coaches than most.  If the G-men aren't embarrassed by the Falcons, even with a loss, I'd say Coughlin stays.

Spags was also fired yesterday.  Any chance he comes back as D-coordinator???

By the same logic, if they're bringing Coughlin back, these two wins featuring good defensive performances argue for bringing back Fewell.

Unfortunate, because I'd much prefer Spags.

The Eagles are expressing interest in Spags as their DC - this might force the Giants to sign him just to prevent them from getting him.

I was reading last night that Spagnuolo is almost certainly headed back to Philadelphia; can't find the link now though.  I'm surprised that there isn't much mention in the NY press about him returning to the NYG staff.
