Art

When I heard the story about Cashman and  that he paid $6,000 to this woman I assume, hush money, there was no doubt, it was true.  I also thought about the movie Fatal Attraction, so they better keep her locked up. Extortion will probably get her many years behind bars.

I am disgusted because I do not condone  cheating whether is with a married man or not. Cash should have known better and I wonder what the Yanks will say. The advantage is that this news came out long before the season started, because I do not want our season to start with this type of news. I hope his wife takes him to the cleaners.

I guess the saying a stiff d///k has no conscience, applies here, because I doubt he thought twice about the hurt and embarrassment this would cause to his children and wife.

My motto,  is I don't share my chocolate or my husband!! I love them both.

Who cares? We do.

Like newinn just said, it could be a distraction all spring and early into the season.

What a a$$!

Brian Cashman is too remote from the team to be a distraction.

We don't know the details but how exactly is it supposed to be a distraction or hurt the team for our GM to be shook down by a frumpy looking gold digger while he was estranged from his wife?  It's in the courts now so he can focus on last minute moves.

He's going nowhere, unless he resigns. They also are not moving Hendry into his job. They just made Eppler the Asst. GM. He'll take over, because he knows the organization already.

Jeez.

How do you know the Yankees knew all about it?

most likely they didn't know all of it - you know, the crazy stalker stuff and the fact that instead of just another divorce this has now become some cheap hollywood tabloid front page story....  and the more steam this thing gains watch for other Cashman women coming out of the shadows trying to "Cash" in on their flings with Pee Wee......

That's possible, Art. They probably knew about the affair(s). We'll see how much of this they can take before they force Cashman out, if they force him out.

I thought you said Cashman's going nowhere!

When I said Cashman's going nowhere, I was assuming that this woman was the only one. Art made me stop and think there might be others, in which case, the Yanks might then force him out.

On one hand, firing Cashman will help this stalker (and she is one) get exactly what she wanted, the ruining of Cashman. In the same breath, that .old saying you play with fire enough and you'll get burned...sounds like that's what happened here. From the sounds of it though, he and his wife had been seperated for quite a while by the time all this came out.

I say keep him unless it becomes too big of a distraction. For me,I could really care less about what people do in their bedrooms.
