Hendry was probably looking for a job and the Yankees offered him special assistance of scouting. They did the same thing with Kevin Towers in 2010 before he became the D-Back's GM. As for the book, who knows what Cashman did from 1998-2007 from what Joe Torre said. All I know is he was caught in 2009 with another woman cuddling. That's a fact.

ninja108 Posts: 3,656	He and his wife were seperated (due to rumors of cheating before) so it's not like she was at home with the kids while he was hooking up. Does this make him a less likeable person? Yes but his personal life is none of our business. And for the record, that still doesn't make what Torre did in writing that book any better.
