Though next year he probably won't be here, it's nice to have a real center like Lopez.

Humphries is a beast, by the way.

He cannot be shipped out of town soon enough for me. He is not a dominant rebounder and his defense is non-existent. I know Lopez has been playing full 82 games so far in his young career, but with these ankle/foot problems....you just never know with a big guy. Will it be a recurring issue now?

As for Humphries, I love the guy. But as he gobbles up rebounds, it reminds me of the year Truck Robinson led the league in RPG. He played tons of minutes and outside of Rich Kelley's 25 minutes a game, Truck had no one on his team to compete with for rebounds. Most of this season, if Humphries doesnt get the rebound, the Nets are not getting possession.

Humphries is a keeper though. Marshon Brooks is gonna be a star IMO. Either way, I love the team and sat here and watched a brutal (as expected) blowout loss to the Heat. Oh one more guy....Jonah...I havent been keeping up with the forums...whats your take on DeSawn Stevenson? I think he is another waste of space. I know they all talk about how he is a shut-down defender on the perimeter, but he just doesnt do enough stuff IMO. I would rather see Gerald Green get his minutes the rest of the year to see if he can possibly stick. Stevenson is a journeyman SF/SG who will not be around when the Nets eventually turn the corner.

I think he'll be a part of any major trade.

Nets may just wait for Dwight to be a FA before signing him. They have the cap room. How about Brook PF and Humphries SF if/when Dwight comes here?
