Andy was down in Spring Training the last few weeks to work with the pitchers as a guest instructor.I was told by a good source that he left earlier than he originally planned because he was getting the itch to pitch again.

I was surprised to see him there at all. When he retired, he said packing to go to spring training was the telling sign that it was time. Then he shows up after one year retirement. IMO he still has more struggle internally than he leads on. Still, as BG said, its only a lil more than a week and a half stay and thats a far cry than pitching 'til Nov.

IMO, that injury he got suffered back in mid 2010..I think that helped push his retirement choices along.

If it's Hughes that gets the 5th spot then yes if Garcia then no.

Not that many. Well, not as many as last year, anyway.

It would take Andy until Memorial Day to get better than Garcia, Kuroda too.
