As long as he pitches well who cares how his hat is. I think even CC slants his hat to the side a little bit.

You're right CC does wear his hat like that. Maybe it's more comfortable for them to throw a pitch. But that said, I hate when I see pine tar all over the Yankee batting helmet logo.

Come on, fans need to take it down a notch.  A rough first inning to be sure as he settles down with several Ks.  Pineda's fastball hit up to 93-94 mph tonight.

With that said, A-Rod is looking fabulous driving in 3 as Yankees roll to 10-3 win....

In regards to his hat.... The way he wears it cocked perhaps suits his personality.   He can wear his hat backwards as long as he deliver Ks....

Sorry lauren, but

That first inning did put the fear of God into one!

Straighten the hat out ... we're the Yankees!

Coming into camp overweight and out of shape is simply not something that any player should do!

I'm guessing they want Pineda to be comfortable as the focused on his ability to pitch well.  The stuff with the cap is likely to be addressed later. We see this with Sabathia when he use to wear his hat in a similar matter.  As of now, Sabathia wears it the Yankee way....Laughing

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.

Besides the hat issue, I wish MLB would do something about standardizing the sock issue. Wearing pants that cover the entire cleats looks foolish. Personally I like the full sock look like A Rod , Gardner, Robertson etc.

The full sock look has always been my preference also! Wink

It does look weird but I guess some guys are going for the rugged workman look. Smile

To anyone going through a difficult time right now  remember someone always has it worse.
