Lola Posts: 12,521	I'm not watching, I'm on the gamecast... I haven't seen this kid pitch at all.... I do hate the crooked flat bill ghetto hat look. I wish they wouldn't let these young guys wear their hats that way. It's about tradition and doing it the Yankee way!

He looks better this inning as he just struck out the side. Haven't seen that big 95/96 mph fastball but he's touching 93

That stuff drives me nuts also but this kid has talent.

Seriously I wonder if Pineda is going to be another Weaver for us, or is it just tired arm syndrome like the one that plagued Hughes all last season. There was too much hype in the media about how shrewd Cashman was in acquiring a young potential ace, just like ten years ago with the Weaver trade and we all know how that turned out. It hurt me to give up Montero, that kid could really rake it, especially to right field.

I was at his 1st game in the stadium last year.... the game he tied and won with home runs. He was special.
