Assuming your story is true, if the situation you've described comes to pass you'll root for your son to get a hit and win the game.

As you should.

Congratulations to you and your son.  I understand your ambivalence, but it's a great opportunity for him.  Look at it this way... maybe he will get traded to the Yankees!

I hope he will forgive us when we call for a pitch up and in.  ;)

2 words for you: DIS-OWN HIM

(I'm kidding)

Congradulations.   No matter who he signed with it has to be a great thrill for a parent.  Wish him the best.  Enjoy the thrill because many a parent wishes they could live your dream.  Who he signed with is not important.

my question is  , how did he get  signed by the Red Sox. This is not June, it is March. The last time I checked the

the MLB draft  was not until June. The only way he got signed  by the Blow Sox now is a international

FA. Is that  case? Otherwise this does not happen. The Red Sox can't  just  sign anyone "off the street "  without  using the MLB draft or internationals free agency. I think it would be nice if  you explained how this happened,

.

NOBODY DOES IT BETTER THAN THE NEW YORK YANKEES
