see BG's comments on Kontos . He will never make any difference with the Yankees.

Understand this .Romine is down for a few months. Scranton needs a starting catcher , which Romine was for them. They need Cervy to be the  starting catcher for Scranton . He has  options , Stewart doesn't.

Cashman is not what you said, He knows alot more what this team and the Triple A needs than you do.

scranton? yeah, you sure know your baseball.

what about gus molina? he should be the starter for the EMPIRE STATE YANKS.

also, maxwell being cut without getting a piece in return was downright brutal as well.

you really blowing off steam ? Calm down before you have  a stroke.

On Francesa, they played a clip of Cashman's  press conference.

Molina will either have to go to Double A or they will ask him of he wants to be released. He ain't that special , either.

Maxwell is out of options. Don't you uderstand  that? They can't keep him. They like him and are hoping no one picks him up.

i am calm as a cucumber and never did say molina was special either. anyway, since you didn't quite get my post, i will make it simple: cervelli should have been part of the 25 man roster. maxwell should have been traded for a spare piece. i mean damn, cashman was able to flip mitre for dickerson around this time last year.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is still the offical name of the AAA team.  Empire State is being used as a tool to try to sell tickets.  It was the idea of the Rochester GM where they're playing the majority of their games.  All stats and standings and anything to do with MILB will still be under SWB this year.  And if these idiot county commissioners don't start construction it could be for more than this year.  They're trying to sell the franchise for 14 million, for anybody out there who's interested lol

I really like Stewart's defense, but I wouldn't have dealt Kontos for him.  That's too steep a price imo.  I'm not crazy about Kontos, but he had a really good year last year.  Unfortunately for him he gives up a lot of homers.  I wish the young man a lot of luck.  He's fought back from TJS and seems to be a nice guy.

BG, rochester must not really be a baseball town if a ploy is needed to sell tickets to check out that trio (warren-banuelos-betances) in their pitching rotation. well, either that or ticket prices were raised for AAA too.

anyway, how's everything going, BG? i'm ready for the season, just a bit confused at these 2 transactions cashman made today.
