I was watching a long HR and a lot of hard hit balls. And he still hasn't had a clean inning. Not sure what you're watching.

simple....he gets the 1-2-3 and he saves what, about 15-18 pitches? the whole game is changed! Take a gander at his pitch count after the first innning...then talk to me about defending Nunez in the first inning...errors KILL you!

And he saves 15-18 pitches for what? To serve up to the Rays in the 7th? He got hammmered. One rin is on Nunez. He got hit hard all day.

Not making any predictions yet, but I feel a dark cloud hanging over this team. We went from 8 starting pitchers in the preseason to 5, losing some to injuries, and others now aren't performing well at all. The one bright spot is that the "Kentucky curse" seems to indicate a Yankees World Series victory. Hope things gets better soon, because they've only been heading downhill the last few weeks and the Rays rotation doesn't get any easier tomorrow.

Burying your argument with the facts.

Anyone that watched the game knows Nunez error was huge, but to lay the blame of the lose on one guy is not right.. Yes if he makes that play it changes the whole perspective of the game.. Kuroda saves on pitch count, he maybe has something left in the middle innings instead of wearing down, (lets remember it's only the second game, pitchers still aren't in top shape yet) so a few less pitches could have very easily changed the outcome of this game.. Some blame lies at the feet of the players not willing to adjust to the shift.. This team even though it scores six runs still needs to find a way to score other then the long ball.. We just as well get used to seeing Nunez in the infield, Jeter/A-Rod are going to get rest, I'm not sure the first couple of games are needed for rest yet, but Girardi feels that way so that's the way it's going to be..

Well thank someone else sees it. I was wondering if my eyes were F-ed up or something. Not sure this is much an upgrade over AJ.

He isn't an upgrade over AJ.
