I just received a call that YES board member EnterSandman passed away Easter Sunday. His wife Roberta called me to tell me the sad news. For longtime members he'll be remembered for his great spring training reports. He was a diehard Yankee fan. I became good friend with him on this board and we used to email each other regularly. A couple years ago when I went down to ST Pete for a vacation we got together, and he took me to the Yankees complex and caught a minor league game together. It was the highlight of my trip. I was looking forward to seeing him again this summer if his he was up to it. I will miss him.
Rest in Peace buddy.
Thanks for the news BG, although its far from news any of us wanted to hear. His ST reports were always a very welcoming site each February/March. They were a sign that the long winter was over and that baseball was right around the corner. RIP Sandman, you're sure to be missed.
