Kind of puts things in perspective hey Strat. Funny, we're faceless ( well I do have my ugly mug public ) and interact behind a key board but over the years we become " friends " and when one leaves us or is not posting we are sad or wonder if they're ok. I remember we were all going bongers when BG wasn't posting awhile back....I was even doing searches for accidents in his area! Another oldtimer who I havent seen is Bobbycuban, remember him? He saw Joe D play and kind of got on the nerves of the ladies here lol. Just some thoughts rambling around here.
Yes it does put things in perspective craner. I remember BobbyCuban. I think we may have lost him when the board changed, because I don't remember him posting here on the new board.
We did lose a lot of good posters when they changed over the board. I remember Bobby well. He was a big Melky fan. As far as I know he may have been the oldest poster on this board back then.
Yep.. You're right. We lost folks during the change-over. I guess that's bound to happen, but it's unfortunate.
Too bad. A lot of good posters decided not to come over. There was that thread that was pinned at the top of the board where just about everybody who was in it never came back. I remember Mick, and Ohio and a bunch of people who used to post in that almost daily and none returned. I used to have a lot of fun with them. My buddy Webson's another one. We still email just about everyday like I did with Sandman.
Tell Webson to get his butt in here. He's not that antiquated where a little change in the boards should derail him.....  We need him to fight the good fight....

Just now reading about this and my prayers go out to EnterSandman's family. It's sad how one minute you're talking to someone and then the next minute, you find out that they're gone. R.I.P EnterSandman. And hello to everyone whom I haven't chatted with on here in a long while. Been busy with work for the past year or so among other things so that's why I hardly come on here much like I used to, but hopefully I'll get some time to stay connected with my fellow Yankee fans on here.
