He (0bama) repassed the Bush tax cuts. His deal he got out of that was more tax cuts. Almost 40% of his stimulus plan was tax cuts.

I just did my 2011 taxes, did you or anyone notice how "He (0bama)" elimated the middleclass tax payer stimulus credit this year?  It was a $800 tax credit for working middleclass families.   Just another way 0bama is out to screw middleclass families.

Another way "He (0bama) is screwing middleclass working families is that he hasn't adjusted the ceiling for being eligible for the tax credits adopted during the Clinton/Gingrich years like tuition credits and child credits.  Those credits are phased out for joint filers earning over $110K, which back in the 90's included the all the middleclass now that figure excludes many middleclass families.  Just another way 0bama screws the middleclass.

The problem with cutting spending is that what everyone wants to cut amounts to 12% of total spending. Other than that you have defense which everyone wants to increase; Medicare and Social Security which are too popular to cut. Obama has been criticized by conservatives for cutting spending on Medicare, NASA, defense, Social Security COLA cuts, and home heating assistance. If you take all that off the table there's almost nothing left.

Liberals claim how good the economy was during the Clinton/Gingrich years.  Why not bring Federal spending back to the amount it is was in those years, in terms of percentage of GDP?

Conservatives posters were complaining about those tax credits allowing most Americans not to pay any taxes. Now you're complaining they're being phased out.

Much of the spending increase was in defense spending so let's bring that down to the Clinton years. And let's increase revenues to what they were during the Clinton years.
