Merry Andrew! Keeping up with the Jones's! Yell

Boy, I'm glad I don't have to listen to him.  Normally I'd catch him a couple games during ST, but I was lucky this year.

Obviously Stewart has never hit much at the ML level, but he wasn't a bad hitter for SWB in 08 and 09 when he hit in the .280 area both years.

As long as he does his thing defensively and can do situational things with the bat most of the time, I'll take it for now. I really don't understand the Cervelli love... never did. He's a good kid, but he has a bit of an attitude for no good reason IMO. He's a liability defensively, and doesn't hit much for the most part. He does do OK with RISP, but in that role it doesn't happen enough to make a difference mostly.

I happen to agree.

Who's Cervelli?

lol  He's had a hit in his last 2 games.  His bat might slowly be starting to warm up.  It couldn't have been much colder.  He's overdue.

And he's sulking. Worst thing he can do, but at his age I would've probably been pissed too. I get that part.

I would imagine he was sulking.  It came as a total shock to everybody.  I felt bad for they young man. But he's not going to make it back to NY unless his game improves.  A hit in the last 2 games and last night he threw out 2 of 3 runners which was huge after going 1-6.  There is 1 steal tonight off him, but he seems to be showing some signs of coming out of it.

I hope he does... for him. He will get another shot either here or elsewhere if he does his work down there.

Are those YES announcers reading our posts?  lol
