Strat, I'm most grateful for your willingness to do such a search....must have piqued your curiousity also...thank you for your efforts ...makesme feel like I'm eventully "getting there" with the veterans...I guess maybe we will just have to wait until Friday afternoon to find out...the stirrups are fantastic!...navy and red striped...can't wait to see "everyone" in short pants, high socks, and stirrups...Joe Madden will get one look at those uniforms and he'll probably have the Rays dressed like that the rest of the season...no doubt  that Friday's game is going to definitely be a class act!  

You definitely piqued my curiosity with that question. I hadn't even thought about the numbers until you mentioned it. We may indeed have to wait until Friday to find out. It would be cool to see the uni's without numbers I think.

Absolutely!...I mean for goodness sakes we know our Yankees...let 'em play the way they did 100 years ago...would there be score keeping or officiating issue?...I hope they auction them off to make a ton of money for some worthy charity

I thought I saw a tweet about the throwback uni's yesterday but I didn't look at it. If I can find any info I'll be sure to post it. I'm curious as well. I was trying to get tickets for this weekend in Boston but due to the 100th anniversary the prices were through the roof. All the hotels were booked as well.

Not sure 115. If you see her on this afternoon you can ask her. I'll probably be on for the first hour of the game myself. Somebody will post the lineup as soon as it's available I'm sure, and that often turns into a defacto game thread.

thanks Lola...you're the best...we-e-ell, probably not THE best, but you know what I mean...close enough to the best...I've been telling bhjoe about your game thread mostly all day...he's quite curious and I'm certain he'll be joining in hopefully for a while...I assure you I'll mostly continue to observe; but I am feeling a great deal more comfortable...I'll be ready to really get rolling very soon....golly, wouldn't it have been great to have attended Friday's extravaganza?...I'm convinced your game thread for that event will be almost as terrific!...
