He didn't get out of the box as quickly as he could have, but he was very clearly safe at first.  The ump just plain blew the call.

I don't know guys. The missed tag at second base in the second inning definitely looked like lack of hustle.

Pay no mind. Cano was safe by a country mile. Someone watched a different game.

He was obviously safe, I watched the same game, but if he hustles out of the box like Jeter does, it's not even close and we wouldn't be discussing this!

It didn't matter how he got out of the box, he was safe, and it wasn't even close ...

I'll say it again so you understand. It wasn't close, the ump blew it, but if Cano hustles out of the box he's safe by a lot and there's no discussion. And, yes it does matter how he got out of the box because this situation will happen again during the season. Tell Jeter and Gardner it doesn't matter how they got out of the box. Combined they probably get 30 infield hits a year.
