And why are you starting a new thread when one was already started saying basically the same thing? www.myyesnetwork.com/go/thread/view/8229...

It must have registered and I didn't think that it did.  I really got upset with the game.  Curtis was magnificent!  This is going to be a rough April.  Go Yanks beat the Red Suxx!

Aside from the infield defense (throwing mostly), I still love what this kid can do.  I think he could be eventually moved into the outfield and do pretty well out there.  He can hit, he can run the bases and his arm, though he gets the yips in the INF, is plenty strong enough to play in the OF.  I'd love to see him get that opportunity.  At the very least, I believe he could eventually be a solid fourth outfielder (emergency INF) and bring a dynamic element off the bench.

I guess I'm in the minority because I love both Nunez and some peoples favorite whipping boy (whenever he makes a mistake) Gardner .

It's too bad this kid takes such a beating, I know the throwing errors seem to find him, but this kid has some great talent and will some day be a very good player.. Whether some people realize it or not most of Nunez's errors are mental ones.. He's playing so many different positions in the IF that he's not getting his foot work right, and most, if not all are mental mistakes.. The kid has speed, he can hit, and he can bunt the ball something not many on this team know how to do.. For some reason I also feel he's a out fielder waiting to happen.. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he becomes the RF'r to replace Swisher.. There's no way Swisher will be back, we don't need him, he's a joker and that's his best credentials.. People better give Nunez some slack, he's got a bright future, there's a lot of teams that would love to have this guy.. Give him some time..

His future is so bright he will need to wear shades.

I like Nunez on offense, but his defense is abysmal.

I think he's trade bait for a good young outfielder. Maybe if he played one position everyday he would overcome his problems.
