I refuse...I'll watch the game

The ceremony highlights will probably be all over the general news later.  From my point of view they shouldn't have scheduled the Yanks for this nonsense.

This is all about Selig and his vision of the game.  He's really left enough of his stain on the game afaic.

I'm kind of laughing at this.  All those old players on the field and not one WS ring.

The only thing I like about Boston is October 2, 1978 and the musical group of the same name.

Bucky Dent and Brad Delp.

That might be the first time those two names have appeared together!

Why the hell did MLB they make us play Thursday night in NY if we had to hop a plane and play a day game in Boston on Friday? They must really want the Sox to win this commemorative game.

The Sox requested the time and date with MLB and the Yankees via the Players' Union agreed to it.

That group is so creative - Tom Scholz pure genius -  They are in the studio now...should get their new cd out within the next decade.  I always wished that they had chosen another name.  "well we were just another band out of Boston...

Well, we were just another band out of Boston
On the road to try to make ends meet
Playin' all the bars, sleepin' in our cars
And we practiced right on out in the street
No, we didn't have much money
We barely made enough to survive
But when we got up on stage and got ready to play
People came alive.

Rock and roll band
Everybody's waitin'
Gettin' crazy
Anticipating love and music
Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm not watching any ceremony either. Fenway could be used as a toxic waste dump for all I care.
