Is this the photo that will clear Zimmerman?

craner7 Posts: 12,782	Who me Max? If you recall I've said if the voice yelling for help is not his, he's in trouble. I just put forth things that come up for discussion. I'm waiting for all the evidence. BUT I do recall a few threads here screaming with delight at the blurred video of him supposedly showing no injury from a few of the libs here. So really its just the opposite Max....more here are ready to hang him then support him. I know of no one here supporting him for killing the kid.

AJFreeway Posts: 4,697	The video wasn't that blurred, and it was quite long when they showed the entire clip. I don't know if the cops would have cleaned him up at the scene, but he definitely had no blood on him or any noticeable injuries in the video. "I'm an angel in an Earth suit."

The outrage from the left is mostly because Zimmerman wasn't arrested.

It means that he stalked the kid and got his rear end kicked. People can sugar coat it all they want. A stalker getting beat up doesn't justify him shooting the person he was stalking. Stand your ground doesn't mean to follow.

craner7 Posts: 12,782	BUT....Max...what IF it is true that the kid was walking not on sidewalks but around houses, like scoping things out. There had been burglaries in the area. I dont know, just saying maybe he just wasnt innocently strolling down the sidewalk. I'm sure its all gonna come out.

AJFreeway Posts: 4,697	I LOL'ed hard when someone here said the prosecution overstepped their bounds when they charged Zimmerman with Murder 2. He followed a kid he was told to leave alone and ended up killing him. As far as I'm concerned, getting a max of 5-10 years would be pretty lenient. "I'm an angel in an Earth suit."

There's no law against that. I also don't give a krap if he was looking through windows. Zimmerman is not a cop. Call the police and that's it. He was also told that the cops didn't need for him to follow anyone. That advice is given for a number of reasons, two being. 1) To avoid something like what happened. 2) Zimmerman will only get in the way.

With ABC News’ release of the George Zimmerman photo showing blood flowing freely from his head, the question becomes whether Angela Corey, the prosecutor in the case, had access to the photo before charging Zimmerman with second-degree murder. The arrest affidavit did not mention the photograph, or the bleeding, gashes, and bruises on Zimmermans’ head. Professor Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School stated upon release of the arrest affidavit that it was “so thin that it won’t make it past a judge on a second degree murder charge. . . everything in the affidavit is completely consistent with a defense of self-defense.” After the release of the photo, however, Dershowitz went much further, telling Breitbart News that if the prosecutors did have the photo and didn’t mention it in the affidavit, that would constitute a “grave ethical violation,” since affidavits are supposed to contain “all relevant information.” Dershowitz continued, “An affidavit that willfully misstates undisputed evidence known to the prosecution is not only unethical but borders on perjury because an affiant swears to tell not only the truth, but the whole truth, and suppressing an important part of the whole truth is a lie.” PS. alan dershowitz is a liberal democrat.
