Right now 3-3 would be great...

As I stated in the onset of these two series, 3W,3L would not be awful as Rangers and Tigers are good clubs poised to win their divisions.. With Hughes and Garcia virtually giving us nothing, it's not awful to come out of it with a split.

With a one run lead, there is no margin for errors.  An insurance run or two would be nice about now.  With big bats in Tigers' lineup, lets hope Sabathia holds on to deliver a win.

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.

Well stated Lauren.  I completely agree, which may or may not be a good thing.Wink

3-3 it is. With some better starting pitching it might have been one or two games better. I'll take it.

After watching the Red Sox roll the Twins it's too bad the Yankees couldn't do the same.

I'm happy with the series win over Tigers, especially since we got to win the game Verlander pitched. I just wish we could have swept the Rangers.... Can't stand them!!

Rays just took a series from the Rangers, first one they lost this year so far.. I know the Rays are our competition, but I'm like you I can't stand the Rangers.. Next to the Red Sox they are my least favorite...

With you on this,

Back in 2010 when the Rangers filed bankruptcy and a judge down in dallas was handling the procedings they were spending at the trade deadline like a drunken sailor. The whole process looked like used car saleman type shadiness which ( if I read them right) fits Ryan and Jerry Jones like a glove.

On another note unfortuntely the professional leagues don't take into account state taxes when figuring out salary caps therefore teams in locations that don't pay state taxes do have an advantage over other teams that pay higher state taxes.

If Rangers were not contenders many here would not pay much attention to them. For Yankee fans, a target is on Rangers' back.  Their team is well situated for good runs in the years ahead, many are threaten by their potential. With Angels tanking of late, many Yankee fans have not paid much attention to them.

We are much aware of our competition toward ALCS.  Like Red Sox, their arrogant fan base are chirping, that's to be expected.  Their fans are not too fond of us either....Laughing

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.
