THAT ONE'S HIT DEEP TO LEFT FIELD!!! GOING BACK HAMILTON!!!!...TRACK!!!....WALL!!!.......AND IT'S......caught by Hamilton for the 3rd out.

If Kay did it, Sterling shouldn't surprise you one bit.

Kay = TV ~ Sterling = Radio

If Kay said "SEE YA!!" and then moments later corrected himself it STILL wouldn't equate because KAY ISN'T ON THE RADIO!!!

Sterling is perfect for New York City. He is the voice of the New York Yankees. For those of us who live far away there few things better than hearing Sterling's voice cutting through the static on The AM radio in the night.

Hmmmm..... You guys try it.

...before you. Throw darts....

Try ityourself.  It ain't easy filling up air time, trying to keep people listening and to add excitement.

Waldman does a great job with her content, the only issue is her voice is a bit annoying.  Sterling's content is weaker, but his voice is good.  It's tough putting the two factors together.  In the end, this combination is much better that the converse situation.

Carp, I am sure it is a difficult job.  I actually enjoy Sterling, he makes me laugh.  He makes a bunch of mistakes and forgets about the game sometimes, but he can be very funny.

When listening to Sterling I have a 5 second rule. After he describes a play count to 5 and see if he corrects himself.

At this point he's comical. He did it last week too. He thought the ball was foul and it was caught by the OFer to end the game. The ball wasn't even close to being a foul ball or even close to being in the RF corner. It was like he was watching a flyball from a different game. Here's the link.

Here's John Sterling botching the ending of the Yankees/Twins game from last night | April
