This idiot Cashman has run is luck out. He knows nothing about pitching. He's made some bad pitching decisions. Vazquez over Schilling, Vazquez again, Pavano, Burnett, and now trading Montero for an injured pitcher. On top of that, we should've made a real bid on Yu Darvish. Darivsh is an ace in the making. I told you that in the winter. We traded Montero for an injured pitcher, who may need surgery. It's going to be another first round exit again this year. We cannot beat Texas or Detroit. We may not even beat the Angels with their starting pitching.

They can't beat Texas? LOL!!!! Yankess have beaten Texas 8 of the last 11 regular season games.  I take it you missed the Angels series. That's the LAST PLACE Angels I'm talking about. Meanwhile, you're sitting behind your little computer, while "idiot" Cashman is running the greastest franchise in baseball history. I guarantee he knows 1000 times more than you.

YES! YES!!! :P

Cashman's average, just doing what he can, sometimes suceeding, sometimes lucky (e.g. Garcia last year), but sometimes not willing to take the risk that could lead the team to heaven or perdition. Average mind-set, then; good enough, I suppose; but not if we start falling behind our AL peers in the next two years. Jury's always out on GMs, Cashman too. But "genius"--uh, no.

his decisions on pitchers have been more than questionable. everyone must admit.

jaret wright, carl pavano, vasquez, trading for randy johnson, trading kennedy and keeping chamberlain and hughes, not signing darvish, kevin brown, aj burnett.

ive always like cash's pitching centric and youth focused approach but we have to be honest, our organization's evaluation of pitching is brutal. alot of it does have to do with the fact that it seems pitchers have a much harder time performing here.

I think the main problem besides the fact that he makes bad decisions on pitching, he's trying to impress the owners too much with his payroll reduction plan. I know the luxury tax is a thing to be aware in the future, but at what cost? Championships? George would've never agreed to that. He knew that to make money, he had to spend money. George would've bid on Darvish and signed Cespedes. Since when do the Yankees shop at Walmart? What's the point of saving money to avoid the luxury tax if it sacrifices the team's success. Does anyone have any confidence that this team will beat either Texas or Detroit? I don't think they will.
