There has been several success stories of pitchers having this surgery and coming back as good as ever.. The thing to be most positive about is some of those success stories were surgeries that took place several years ago.. I'm convinced that the procedure is probably done better today then it was when Shilling and Leiter had theirs...


If Andy comes back and pitches anything like he did in the past we will be just fine.. Pineda will be forgotten about until his return, good or bad trade, it's water under the bridge now...
