forget about Hammels . He is  28, but he will be looking for a  6-7 yr  deal at 25 million per year and Hal ain't

doing  those kind of deals anymore.

When he says he wants this payroll under the 189 million by 2014, you better sit up and listen. This is not

George's team anymore.

Probably done for the year. It's a right anterior labral tear, meaning the area where his biceps connects to the shoulder socket. However, there are 4 different classes of labral tears. It depends on which classes he has and how severe they are.

Thank you doctor.

Never  deal with Seattle again. Jack Zombie passed on damaged goods to us and to the Tigers. Fister is now

No wonder he wanted to get rid of Pineda and Fister. I now seems the organization suspected something at else.

This trade should be null and  void. We keep Campos and they keep Neosi. But, Montero should be returned,I know this not likely to happen. But, it should be

I hate Jack Z

There was no evidence of "damaged goods" not with Pineda, not with Fister. Fister was so damaged, he pitched brilliantly down the stretch for the Tigers, and again against the Yanks in one of his starts in the ALDS.

This stinks to high heaven. Someone needs to accept accountability here. The wishy washy statements from Cashman just don't cut it with me. Either he is an idiot or is covering up from someone not doing his homework. Meanwhile Montero was essentially given away by our genius GM.

Or: he traded for a promising young pitcher who had a good season last year who hurt his arm in spring training, and again trying to rehab.

That could be all of it.

Things would be a lot worse if Montero wasn't sucking right now.

It will be sucking worse, as Montero will hit big-time at some point; maybe not this year, but maybe later this year.

What makes you think Hammels would demand $25 million a year? He's not that good. We could have had Darvish for only $10 million and he is a lot better than Hammels.

Montero will eventually start hitting better. He's just too talented.

That's the truth.  How many pitchers tear their labrum and never come back the same?  About 100% is my guess.
